The person who should be hung for bringing up history is the one who claimed Tenn was superior to Miami because they had played football 36 years longer and had 6 Natl. Titles, one of which was around during the years when paper instead of rocks were written on.

im aware and have no problem with that.......but to play the card or 6 titles and 36 more years of football to be is insane
in the modern day tenn has 1 title vs miamis 5
i dont have anything against the vols......actually when we did make ourtrip out to knoxville aside from rocky top making me want to jump off a very high top into a very hard rocky bottom......thei fans were actually among the most considerate and hospitable fans ive ever encountered on the road.......but that doesnt change the fact that they are and have been pretty much irrelevant in the face of college football for the past 25 years......save 1998
